ANDHealth works with ACMD to accelerate Australia’s digital and connected health technology pipeline

30 October 2025

ANDHealth, Australia’s leading digital and connected health commercialisation organisation, has been engaged by the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery (ACMD) under a new services agreement to strengthen Australia’s digital health innovation pipeline.

The agreement marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration focused on accelerating the journey from research to real-world impact and supporting Australian innovators in the digital health and medical technologies sectors.

Under the agreement, ANDHealth will provide strategic and programmatic support to ACMD’s Link and Challenge initiatives, key programs designed to foster innovation and collaboration across research, clinical and industry partners. From early 2026, ANDHealth will also co-locate within ACMD’s new 11-storey collaborative hub at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, enabling closer integration between both organisations and their networks.

“We’re delighted to welcome ANDHealth as a key contributor to our Link and Challenge programs,” said ACMD CEO Jeff Malone. “Their expertise will help us further our mission to advance medical innovation from research to real-world impact. By working together, we’ll create clearer pathways for Australian health technology companies to move from discovery to commercialisation.”

ANDHealth Chief Executive Bronwyn Le Grice said the agreement reflects both organisations shared commitment to fostering a thriving, sustainable ecosystem for digital and connected health innovation in Australia.

“By co-locating with ACMD, ANDHealth will have direct access to world-class clinicians, researchers and infrastructure, creating an even stronger foundation for advancing digital and connected health technologies,” Ms Le Grice said. “Aligning the capabilities of ACMD alongside our industry-led commercialisation model enables us to turbocharge the commercialisation and uptake of evidence-based Australian innovation, ensuring more homegrown solutions reach patients and markets around the world.”

ANDHealth supports a pipeline of more than 1,200 digital and connected health companies across Australia, helping them navigate critical commercialisation hurdles and accelerate their growth. Through world-class commercialisation capability building, accelerator and incubator programs, and professional management of substantial non-dilutive funding through the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund, ANDHealth ensures digital and connected health start-ups and emerging technologies are fit-to-fund, fit-to-deploy, scale and deliver improved outcomes for patients and health systems alike.

“This collaboration provides our companies with direct access to ACMD’s clinical networks, technical expertise and prototyping facilities,” Ms Le Grice added. “Together, we can fast-track the journey from discovery to delivery, ensuring Australian innovations make a meaningful impact on global healthcare.”
